The 2023 North of England Dentistry Show is making its way to Manchester Central on Saturday 11 March 2023.

Back and better than ever, it’s expected to have the highest attendance so far. Spaces are filling up very quickly!

The North of England Dentistry Show is your chance to get face-to-face with the full spectrum of dental companies via the exhibition. With over 100 brands confirmed to be there, the exhibition will feature the latest products and biggest innovations that power dentistry.

In addition, there will be 12 different lecture theatres at the show – the most the North of England Dentistry Show has every had. Each theatre will host a variety of carefully selected topics and speakers, and CPD will be available for every single lecture.

We’re expecting 85+ speakers on the day across every area of dentistry, all discussing the latest topics in the profession.

The Business Hub, powered by Mydentist, focuses on providing you with insights, advice and information on the business side of dentistry. Topics include increasing profitability, exploring private practice and day-to-day guidance to help you run the practice smoothly.

Rebecca Harris, deputy CDO for England – Keynote Address: Committed to the NHS and what’s happening with dental system reform – sponsored by NHS England

Rebecca is deputy chief dental officer for England and professor of Dental Public Health in the Institute of Population Health, University of Liverpool.

She has held several dental professional roles such president of the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry, oral health topic expert for NICE committees and specialist advisor to the House of Commons Health and Social Care Select Committee inquiry into dentistry.

‘There are personal as well as financial, ideological and even possibly nationalistic reasons why people say they “love” the NHS,’ said Rebecca.

‘The NHS is often the standout example of something about the UK almost everyone celebrates, although it faces many challenges, especially as we recover from the pandemic.

‘NHS dentistry is undergoing reform though, with July 2022 seeing the first set of changes to the dental contract since 2006.

‘The presentation will outline the “why” of working in NHS dentistry and what is happening in relation to reform of the NHS dental contract in England.’

She provides clinical policy advice on Dental System Reform in her capacity as deputy CDO.

Bhavna Doshi – Creating a positive, high-performance team culture

As CEO of Dental Wealth Builder (DWB), Bhavna primarily focuses on practice profitability and growth solutions.
