East of England – we’re coming for you!

The very first East of England Dentistry Show comes to Peterborough this October – here we find out why you should attend.

The very first East of England Dentistry Show comes to Peterborough this October – here we find out why you should attend.

FMC will host, for the first time, the East of England Dentistry Show on Saturday 1 October in Peterborough.

The inaugural show will bring specialist exhibitors and leading speakers to the East of England’s doorstep at the East of England Arena. And the action-packed day is completely free to attend for all those who register.

‘One area that major exhibitions always miss is the East of England,’ said Leanna Ellis, FMC events director.

‘With so many links into London, it’s easy to see why. But dental teams shouldn’t have to travel half the way across the country to see the latest innovations.

‘That’s why we’re bringing the show to you.

‘We’re very excited to bring to you, for the first time, the East of England Dentistry Show. And we can’t wait to see you all there.’

What’s going on?

The East of England Dentistry Show has something for the whole dental team, with seven hours of CPD on offer!

A leading line-up of speakers awaits, spread across two theatres, the Private Dentistry Theatre and the Clinical Dentistry Theatre.

You can hear from:

  • Justin Leigh – Improve your patient consultations to grow your private practice
  • Mark Topley – Why your team needs you to be a great boss – and how to become one
  • Nik Sethi – Digital workflow with anterior ceramic restorations
  • Wail Girgis and Deepesh Patel – Impossible cases – who you gonna call and the right time to refer
  • Avijit Banerjee – Advanced minimum intervention restorative dentistry – it’s time to build back together!
  • Elisabeth Smallwood, Amar Mehta, and Puneet Patel – Mission impossible – when to say no from a periodontic and endodontic perspective.

‘Dentistry is currently experiencing a boom – despite the cost of living crisis,’ Leanna continued.

‘It’s so important to keep ahead of the curve and ensure practices are kitted out with the latest tools and equipment.

‘As the cost of living starts to bite, patients will become more selective about where they go for treatment. Which means investments that practices make now will pay off in the long run.

‘If you want to see and try the latest innovations, the East of England Dentistry Show is the place to do it.’

Team day out

The East of England Dentistry Show also marks one of the last opportunities of the year to get out and network with the industry.

This year has come as a bit of a whirlwind as practices recover from the pandemic, as well as getting caught up in the boom for private and cosmetic dentistry.

It’s hard to believe we’re approaching the last quarter of the year.

If you had ambitions to kit out your practice in 2022, the East of England Dentistry Show could be your last opportunity to do it.

‘We’ve seen from the attendance at our regional shows that there is an appetite to get out there and network with colleagues,’ Leanna concluded.

‘Face-to-face meetings are so important. And the East of England Dentistry Show offers that opportunity in abundance.

‘As well as earning seven hours of CPD, dentists and their teams can speak to leading manufacturers, network with colleagues and have a superb, fun and beneficial team day out.’
