FMC has completely transformed the Dentistry app and its biggest, most exciting update is ready for you to download now.

The way we consume media is constantly evolving, and FMC is ensuring we adapt to your needs with the latest instalment of the Dentistry app.

It’s hard to imagine a time before the iPhone, which launched only 15 years ago.

But in that short time, the way we live our lives and receive and send information has completely transformed.

People are on the go 24/7, which makes keeping up to date with the latest dental news all the more challenging.

It’s a challenge FMC is tackling head on, as it brings you the latest version of the Dentistry app, bringing all the latest dental news to you, with the simple swipe of a thumb.

‘The initial Dentistry app set the groundwork for a dental news app,’ Seb Evans, Dentistry group editor, says.

‘Launched over four years ago, it was one of the first dental news apps in the UK, with thousands of users downloading it.

‘But in recent years, we’ve noticed the demand for what’s expected of a news app has increased, and so has the range of information and products that FMC offers.

‘It’s time to update what’s possible, with the largest, most transformative and exciting Dentistry app update we’ve ever carried out.’

New look

The Dentistry app is now available to download for free, both from Apple and Google app stores.

Users will immediately notice an updated feel and look, bringing the app up to date.

And the various news sections mirror what’s available to readers visiting Dentistry.co.uk, meaning you can access the latest dental news while on the go.

But that’s not where the developments end.

Users will now be able to access the latest webinars, CPD and certificates, and events calendars and read FMC magazines straight from the app.

‘We’ve seen the working relationship dental professionals have with the industry change drastically over the last few years,’ Laurie Glover, FMC marketing director, said.

‘The new Dentistry app goes further than ever to make the latest news, content and information hugely accessible.

‘It’s been a joy to work on this project and we can’t wait to show you the finishing product.’

This is just the start

‘FMC is prioritising its readers’ needs and lifestyles – we are adapting to you,’ Tim Molony, FMC digital director, said.

‘And I think this app proves that.

‘All the news, information and learning a dentist or dental professional could ever need is available to them on the app.

‘But we won’t stop there. We have some exciting plans to utilise the power of the Dentistry app in the future.
