This September, Align Technology will host UKI Forum Live in London, its annual flagship event for GPs.

Align Technology Inc is a leading global medical device company that designs, manufactures, and sells the Invisalign system of clear aligners. It also manufactures Itero intraoral scanners and Exocad CAD/CAM software for digital orthodontics and restorative dentistry.

The company will hold UKI Forum Live, its annual flagship event for GPs, on Saturday 24 September in London. It will be Align’s first GP focused in-person gathering in the UK since 2019.

Participants will gain insights into Align’s latest innovations, including Invisalign Smile Architect that delivers ortho-restorative treatment planning with a facially driven treatment planning approach.

It combines Itero intraoral scans, facial photos, and Clincheck software to help doctors create treatment plans that integrate orthodontics and restorative treatments for their patients.

Speaker line-up

The speaker line-up includes Jim Carroll, an innovation and business transformation specialist. He will share industry-specific insights on the trends and innovation pathways relevant today.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to listen to Dr Nancy Ward, a member of the Invisalign faculty. She is also the first woman to chair the Pankey Institute, a non-profit institute dedicated to helping dental professionals master advanced technical skills.

Dr Sarah Pless is a key opinion leader of the American Academy of Clear Aligners. She will demonstrate how to master treatment planning with Clincheck.

They will be joined by several clinicians, including Dr Monik Vasant, Dr Paul Abrahams, Dr Affan Saghir and Dr Sandeep Kumar. These clinicians will also host practical workshops to share the benefits of their clinical and practice building experience.

In addition, Dr Rob Chaffe will hold a session on the combination of the Itero intraoral digital scanner and Exocad software in practice.

Enriched learning experience

Align has created an enriched learning experience not just for principals, but also for practice teams.

There will also be a parallel practice track from dental hygienist and business coach Flo Couper. This will allow team members to learn how to use the Itero intraoral scanner.

In addition, delegates can hear a practical guide to social media marketing.

The event will also welcome Samantha Clarke, a speaker, author, and ‘happiness consultant’. She will help delegates explore how to find purpose and wellbeing in their careers.

A detailed agenda of the day is available here.

Early registration for the UKI Forum Live is recommended to secure places on the limited-space hands-on workshops.
