Nine in 10 dentists have treated patients who go travel abroad for treatment

The phenomenon of ‘Turkey teeth’ has hit the headlines this week – a news story welcomed by the profession.

In a new BDA survey, it emerged that an alarming 94% of dentists have examined patients who have flown abroad for dental treatment. On top of this, 86% of dentists have treated patients who developed problems after receiving treatment abroad.

Sometimes it takes big names to draw attention to an ever-growing risk. Jack Fincham, a former Love Island winner, spoke out about his experience – you can read more about this below.
