Sandeep Kumar, founder and CEO of Mismile, has announced the dual launch of a ‘Mastering Your Invisalign Business’ book and podcast series.
Here the trailblazer will share the secrets to independent practice growth – the ‘Mi Way‘.
The guide to building a million-pound practice using the Invisalign system has been authored by Kumar. It starts by telling the remarkable story of his self-made success; from his roots growing up in a small village in rural India, to arriving in the UK unable to speak English. Before working as a dental nurse until he could requalify as a British dentist.
His lightbulb moment came when he realised he could use the Invisalign system as a primary focus for driving patient engagement and practice growth. In April 2015 he founded the Mismile network to help other practices adopt his methods and emulate his success.
‘Become a master of Invisalign’
At the group’s annual conference on 19 May 2022, it was announced that more than 100 independent general dental practices have joined the network. They are successfully running thriving businesses using Kumar’s proven growth model.
The last two years has seen the network double in size. There is a waiting list of practices hankering to join, and each member practice has experienced an incredible growth trajectory. A quarter are now achieving Invisalign Platinum Elite or Diamond status.
Kumar cited the book and podcast launch as the apotheosis of his career. At the unveiling he stated: ‘Dreams do come true if you believe in yourself. The book shows how I learned to “stand on the shoulders of giants and become a master of Invisalign”.
‘Now for the first time, it is possible to learn Mismile’s practical five-point model. This has been created to guide ambitious dental professionals to grow their practices using the Invisalign system. All without being part of the network.’

The companion piece to the book, the Mastering your Invisalign podcast series, pairs Dr Kumar with inspirational dental masters and thought-leaders who will discuss their challenges and insights.
A new episode releases at 7am every Monday morning for aspirants to listen before each working week begins.
In the first episode Dr Christian Coachman joins Kumar in conversation – the guru of Dental Smile Design. Together they discuss what it is like to be a dental entrepreneur.
