The presentation will cover many different learning outcomes. For example, highlighting the oral manifestations that are linked to pregnancy, explore the statistics that support the need for further oral health education to new and expectant mothers, and identify the options available to support oral health in the early years for midwives.
The lecture will ensure delegates are competent and confident in understanding the different ways that oral health can affect our overall wellbeing, how it has adverse effects on pregnancy and review the guidelines relating to oral health.
