The Bollywood Dentist Ball is set for next week – making this the last chance get your tickets.
Jas Gill is inviting members from all corners of the dental profession to come along to the evening, which will take place on Saturday 18 September 2021 from 6pm.
Hosted at the Hilton Paddington, London, the evening will involve a 3-course Indian dinner, unlimited alcohol and a live DJ.
And throughout the night guests can enjoy live Bollywood and Bhangra dangers by the Panjabi Hit Squad from BBC Asian Network.
The idea for the evening sprung from the Facebook group, The Bollywood Dentist, which was born during the first lockdown.
Come together
Realising many dentists shared a love for Bollywood, Jas Gill created the group – but had no idea it would be so popular.
‘Within the first month we had almost 500 members,’ he said.
Now, the group is hosting its first event. ‘People have been stuck at home through lockdown. Now there’s an opportunity for everyone to come out on the evening of the Dentistry Show next Saturday,’ added Jas.
Tickets cost £125 per person. All profits will go towards Wells on Wheels, a charity offering water wheels to ease the burden of women in India who walk for miles to collect water.
