Shilpa Jain explains why she got into dentistry and how it is the perfect combination of working with new people, science, art and psychology.

Shilpa Jain BDS MFDS RCS Ed qualified as a dentist from Kings College London in 2012. Since then, she went on to do a post oral and maxillofacial surgery at the QAH in Portsmouth.
Shilpa also went onto completing a year-long diploma in restorative dentistry with Tipton Training. As well as qualifying as an Invisalign provider.
The two skills combined enabled her to follow her passion, which lies in aesthetic dentistry.
The natural progression for her was to then expand her passion for aesthetics. She completed facial aesthetic training in fillers, anti-wrinkle treatment and medical grade skin care.
She now dedicates one day a week to purely facial aesthetics in Surrey. The remainder of the week she then completes smile makeovers and general dentistry.
