Tony Gedge give us his latest update from Spain on how the coronavirus is impacting him and dental practices around the world.
Spain is currently on lockdown, with people consequently only going out to shop or go to work.
Tony has therefore taken the time to update Dentistry.co.uk on the current position from Spain and give his thoughts on how dental practices should deal with the coronavirus.
Engaging with your followers
Dentists are still very busy. They may not be in the practice, but Tony says it’s important to engage with people at home.
One example is a practice who is carrying out the Land’s End to John O’Groats challenge. The team is aiming to cover enough steps in the hour they can exercise every day to cover the distance between Land’s End and John O’Groats (874 miles). The practice also donates £1 per mile to give to charity.
Tony’s advice is to engage your followers and put your goal on social media for everybody to share. These challenges are getting more shares than with normal marketing. It helps position the practice within the community.
