Carestream Dental is today (1st November) hosting its one-day Summit event, presenting its latest product and software innovations to dentists.
The day’s first speaker was Jason Bradbury, well-known technology expert and presenter of The Gadget Show on Five.
He spoke about the exponential growth of technology, and how advances will continue to affect us over the next few years, covering computing, AI, self-driving cars and his own recent dental experiences.
Innovations
The day covers all three of Carestream Dental’s major product areas – practice management software, digital imaging and scanning, with leading presenters including Patrik Zachrisson, Adam Nulty, Paul Reaney, Kunal Shah and Jan Einfeldt, among others. Delegates also have the chance to see and try out the latest product innovations.
Recent developments available to see at the event include CS R4+ Version 7.0, the true cloud practice management software; the Care Management Platform, as well as imaging breakthroughs in CS Imaging Version 8.0 and CS ScanFlow for scanning.
CAD/CAM specialist at Carestream Dental, David Claridge presented the new CS3700 intraoral scanner with software advances and featuring smart shade matching, a new ergonomic design and faster scanning speeds.
