Tepe has launched the UK’s first bioplastic tongue cleaner, to add to its Tepe Good range.
Along with the Tepe Good Tongue Cleaner, Tepe is also launching the Tepe Good Compact toothbrush.
Both are produced using renewable raw materials, sugar cane and castor oil.
‘The introduction of the Tepe Good Compact toothbrush and Tepe Good Tongue Cleaner offers consumers and the dental profession a range of environmentally sensitive oral care solutions that do not compromise on quality,’ Chris Conway, marketing manager at Tepe UK, said.
‘The expansion of the Tepe Good product range marks another important step in our continued journey towards a more sustainable future.’
Sustainability
These new products enable Tepe to recirculate up to 95% CO2 emissions during the products’ life cycle.
On top of this, all Tepe products are manufactured using 100% green energy at its Swedish Malmäo factory.
The Good Compact toothbrush has a suggested retail price of £2.75 with the tongue cleaner coming in at £3.35.
In addition to its sustainability benefits, the toothbrush has been developed in collaboration with dental experts to ensure a high-quality design, featuring an ergonomic handle, tapered head and rounded filaments for maximum cleanliness.
Tepe recommends its Good Compact toothbrush for children and adults who prefer a smaller brush head.
Gabby Logan announced as Tepe partner
Tepe recently announced its partnership with Gabby Logan to help promote healthy smiles.
It is hoped Ms Logan will work alongside dental professionals to promote the importance of good oral hygiene.
