Oasis Dental Care has announced its campaign to support Make-A-Wish UK, after practice teams voted to support the charity.
The charity aims to grant the wishes of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions and Oasis Dental Care will be running local fundraising activities in all of its 360 practices nationwide to raise money for Make-A-Wish UK.
Oasis Dental Care will donate 50p for every £1 raised in the practice, in the hope it will reach the company’s maximum donation of £20,000
‘We are delighted to be fundraising for Make-A-Wish,’ Justin Ash, CEO at Oasis Dental Care, said.
‘The work that Make-A-Wish does for children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions is inspiring and we are committed to making many wishes come true.’
Promoting good oral health
Along with raising money, practices will be promoting good oral health routines, making it a fantastic opportunity for families to attend.
This year, Make-A-Wish is celebrating 30 years of granting wishes to more than 10,000 seriously ill children, with each wish being unique to the child.
Wishes granted range from meeting a favourite film, TV or sports personality to being a princess, doctor, vet or firefighter for the day – and all are tailored to provide a personalised experience that creates lasting positive memories for their family.
To make a donation, visit an Oasis Dental Care practice this October half-term.
