A-dec opens new showroom in Scotland
This summer saw the opening of a fabulous new A-dec showroom in Livingston, making it a first for Scotland.
At the official ribbon cutting, Wayne Aho, A-dec vice president of international sales said: ‘The UK and Ireland is an important market globally for A-dec and we are delighted to offer a showroom and education centre in Scotland. This is not just an A-dec showroom. It is a showroom for our authorised dealers, trade partners and customers to utilise.’
Wayne continued to explain that A-dec’s future is tied to growing the business with its dealer partners. This means that dealers are able to use the showroom with their customers as and when required, either with or without the A-dec territory manager onsite.
This new addition joins the three A-dec showrooms located across the UK in Surrey, Warwickshire and Manchester. Each of the experience centres contain a comprehensive range of chair packages, enabling the dental team to find a solution that works for them. Whether they are looking for ideas on surgery design, ergonomics, LDU layout and equipment or even just advice on handpieces and intraoral camera technology, they should pay A-dec a visit.
Appointments to view are entirely at their convenience and individual or team member visits can be offered in the private, modern and relaxing showroom environments.
The new facility is conveniently based at Deer Park in Livingston, just off Junction 3 of the M8 motorway. Only 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 25 minutes from central Glasgow, it will give customers the chance to try before they buy.
The Livingston facility will become the blueprint for all other A-dec showrooms in the future. It is bright – the vibrant lime green colour scheme is impossible to miss, giving the venue a high impact while retaining a welcoming feel – and spacious. The first area the customer will experience is the comfortable consultancy space, which is equipped with seating and a large meeting room table to allow the whole dental team to be involved during the planning stage.
The customer can also experience the A-dec Difference interactive display, showcasing what goes into A-dec’s design and manufacturing processes, to give A-dec equipment quality and robustness.
The staff will work with each individual dentist to work out what system will perfectly fit their requirements for now and the future, ensuring a tailored approach.
From here, the customer can move through to the showroom area to use and see each A-dec system, get a feel for them and ensure they are selecting the equipment that really is right for them. Each A-dec model is available to test drive, with knowledgeable staff on hand to provide guidance and answer any questions, ensuring the decision-making process is crystal clear.
The A-dec Livingston showroom also offers a unique training venue for those looking to host practical hands-on dental courses or traditional lectures in a suitable environment.
It includes lecture style seating that comfortably seats 35 delegates, six fully-loaded A-dec dental chairs for hands-on, practical sessions, as well as free wifi and AV facilities. There is even a fully functioning chair including air, water and vacuum where dentistry can take place under the ceiling-mounted camera for delegates to watch live video action from their seats.
