The Private Dentistry Awards kicked November off in memorable fashion last week by recognising some of best dentists and practices in the UK.
The awards, held on 1 November at the prestigious Hilton Hotel on Park Lane, London, welcomed more than 500 dental professionals through its doors for an afternoon of celebration.
The biggest Private Dentistry Awards ceremony ever didn’t disappoint, serving up an electric atmosphere that turned to jubilation as the afternoon paid tribute to success after success.
With 15 winners across 20 categories, the competition was fierce but friendly, and testament to the calibre of the world-class practices and individuals taking part.
The big winner on the day was The Berkeley Clinic in Glasgow, a high-tech referral and cosmetic centre that picked up four awards including Best New Practice, Best Treatment of Nervous Patients, and Practice of the Year (North). It also collected the event’s most coveted title – Private Dentistry’s Practice of the Year 2013.
Collecting the awards, the Berkeley Clinic’s Dr Mike Gow said: ‘We’re overwhelmed to win so many awards – it feels fantastic. It’s down to a combination of hard work and a great, great team. Everyone at the practice is going to be delighted with this.’
