The British Dental Practice Managers’ Association officially introduced ADAM at the BDTA Showcase.
Members of the dental press joined Association president Jill Taylor to mark the change ofname to the Association for Dental Administrators and Managers, ADAM.
This change of identity reflects an association that welcomes everyone within the administration team of a dental practice.
Jill also revealed details about the ADAM Awards, sponsored by Denplan, which will crown practice manager of the year, administrator of the year and treatment co-ordinator of the year.
The winners of the free-to-enter awards – who will each receive £500 – will be announced at the ADAM Conference in Harrogate in May 2012.
Vice president, Hannah Peek, was introduced as the ADAM ambassador for the Facial Surgery Research Foundation – Saving Faces, a charity that researches better ways of treating diseases and injuries affecting the face and mouth.
