Dentistry Awards – your Christmas party venue!

Don’t miss your chance to shine at the most exciting event in the dental calendar – submit your entry to the 2011 Dentistry Awards by Friday 9 September.

Now in their sixth year, the awards celebrate regional and national excellence in dentistry, honouring exceptional individuals, teams and practices who have worked hard to reach – or indeed stay – at the top of the profession.

This year has seen a new category added to the old favourites (Best Young Dentist, Best Team, and Best Practice) – Best DCP. The Best DCP Award acknowledges the essential role that dental professionals other than dentists play in delivering quality dental care to patients. As always, the winning entries from each regional category will have a chance of winning the overall best UK award in each category.

There are also our website awards to go for – which are Best Website, Best New Website, and Best Specialist Referral Website – as well as the UK-wide Outstanding Achievement Award.

All entries will be appraised by the judging panel, chaired by well-known cosmetic dentist Amarjit Gill. A shortlist will be announced in the weeks leading up to the black-tie ceremony, which returns once again to the stunning Athena in Leicester on Friday 2 December, where the winners of each award will be announced.

The glittering evening consists of a champagne reception, a three-course meal, followed by the electrifying ceremony itself, hosted by a celebrity compere – keep visiting Dentistry.co.uk to find out who that will be!

Last year, Canadian stand-up comedian Tom Stade thrilled the audience, injecting plenty of fun and energy into the proceedings. If that wasn’t enough, the evening continues after the awards are handed out with great music to leave you dancing into the early hours.

The Dentistry Awards provide a perfect opportunity to not only motivate your practice colleagues, but also enjoy a fantastic team-building experience and generate some excitement into your practice while you do so.
