Dental roadshow with an eye to the future

The British Dental Trade Association (BDTA) is sponsoring the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD) Roadshow in 2011.

The BACD prides itself on being a progressive organisation that keeps its members’ eyes firmly focused on the future.

With so many changes and new technologies currently shaking up the field, many dental practitioners may be wondering what lies ahead.

The BACD will be attempting to answer this question in a series of Roadshows to be held across the UK during 2011 featuring key figures Dr James Goolnik, Dr Elaine Halley and Dr Christopher Orr.

They will be addressing a variety of topics, ranging from working with new materials to coping with the effects of HTM 01-05 with a common goal of looking at the practical way forward for cosmetic dentistry.

Tony Reed, executive director of the BDTA, says: ‘We are pleased to be sponsoring the BACD Roadshows in 2011. The world of dentistry is changing rapidly and it is vital to keep up to date with new materials and techniques. Equally important is the need to understand the demands of new legislation and the impact that it will have on dental practices.

‘These roadshows offer practical insights and sound advice which dentists can use to ensure that their practices are fit for the 21st century.’

Schedule of events:

• London: Wednesday 26 January 2011
