New staff for British Association of Dental Nurses

The British Association of Dental Nurses has appointed a new admin assistant.

Katie Ball, 19, has joined the team at head office which currently consists of chief executive Pam Swain, membership administrator Shirley Wetherley and front office administrator Christine Cass.

Katie, from Thornton in Lancashire, will be responsible for the administration of the Corporate Affiliate scheme, the National Education Group, and the updating of the BADN website.

She will also be assisting the chief executive in the organisation of the 2009 National Dental Nursing Conference, sponsored by the British Dental Trade Association, and is being held at the Cheltenham Chase Hotel, near Cheltenham, on 23 and 24 October 2009.

The conference registration fee of £120 for BADN members or £195 for non-members also includes breakfast canapés, lunch and refreshments on both days, as well as the black-tie presidential dinner.

BADN has also negotiated a special bed-and-breakfast rate for delegates at the Cheltenham Chase (www.qhotels.co.uk/hotels/the-cheltenham-chase.aspx) for the nights of 22, 23 and 24 October 2009.  To reserve rooms, please contact the hotel direct quoting ‘BADN’.
