The session aims to raise awareness of common risks associated with social media use by dentists and dental practices, including interactions with patients and the public.
It will also examine practical and appropriate ways to engage with patient comments and feedback, helping to minimise potential risks while maintaining professionalism.
MDDUS risk adviser Kay Louise Grant will review the relevant regulatory requirements and best-practice guidance governing dentists’ use of social media.
The webinar will highlight common pitfalls and share practical tips for managing your online presence, covering both personal and professional accounts, as well as best practice for responding to patient feedback online.
Kay Louise Grant joined MDDUS in 2019 with a background in GP practice management and has since graduated with a master's in healthcare ethics and law.
