Lessons in Instagram: why a dental social media presence is essential

Slaine Ker explains why a social media presence is no longer optional for dental professionals and how to use it to build a client base.

When I made the decision to open my own dental practice in a brand-new city – no patients, no reputation, no referrals – I knew clinical skill alone wouldn’t be enough. I needed visibility. And in today’s world, that means social media.

In dentistry, a digital presence is no longer optional, it’s essential. Especially when you’re starting from zero, as I was when we opened The Row Dental. More than ever, patients are turning to Instagram not just to scroll, but to research.
