Treeline Dental Care’s growth and development day brings the team together to review, strategise and celebrate achievements.
Three years ago, Dr Jimmey Palahey, Treeline’s co-founder, decided that each of his group’s dental practices should set aside a day to review and plan. And so, the concept of a growth and strategy day was born. Treeline teams now refer to this significant date in the group’s calendar as growth and development day or ‘G&D day’ as the the event itself has flourished and grown.
Since 2022, the annual G&D day has now blossomed into a much-anticipated multi-practice, multi-role programme across Treeline’s 14 dental practices in the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.
Nothing stands still for long at Treeline, and with a programme that evolves each year the ambition of the event is designed to ensure that the group’s team of dental professionals is always at the cutting edge of dentistry and leadership. The agenda covers everything from clinical innovation, patient care and organisational development – as Treeline’s full dental workforce downs tools for one full day and are brought together to share feedback and review challenges and opportunities, with the aim of achieving one clear united vision.

Dr Jimmey Palahey, co-founder, Treeline Dental Care said: ‘Growth and development day is now Treeline’s flagship event that represents the heart of our culture and vision. A snapshot of the day’s agenda shows a varied schedule covering items that are both practical and visionary, such as:
- The delivery of essential CPD through workshops and presentations
- Clinical and non-clinical training, tailored for each team member
- Business updates, future strategies and group-wide goals
- Cross-practice networking to promote collaboration and the sharing of learnings
- Awards to celebrate the achievements of outstanding team members.
Importantly, Treeline’s G&D day is designed to deliver tangible and measurable outcomes. Areas of focus include how to improve staff retention and engagement, through a deeper sense of belonging and recognition, how to increase clinical excellence CPD and practical training sessions.
Shining the spotlight on Treeline’s talent
One of the most inspiring elements of the G&D Day is the annual staff awards ceremony. The focus is on those who have gone above and beyond, whether through long-standing commitment, exceptional patient care, innovation or leadership.
To ensure a lasting impact of each award entry’s contribution, Treeline plants a tree for every award recipient. Each tree serves as an enduring and living symbol of growth not just for the individual, but for the entire Group. It’s a gesture that conveys Treeline’s greater purpose – to serve the community.
