This webinar will consist entirely of clinical case examples designed to provide and update on the latest materials, equipment and clinical techniques for optimising direct composite procedures.

Aims and objectives

By the end of this webinar delegates will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of innovations that they can use to simplify and optimise posterior and anterior composite restorations in the following 10 subject areas:

  2. Cavity preparation
  3. Isolation
  4. Matrix technique
  5. Adhesion
  6. Material selection (including bulk-fill)
  7. Composite placement
  8. Composite shaping
  9. Light curing
  10. Finishing and polishing.

Speaker: Louis Mackenzie

Louis Mackenzie is Head Dental Officer at Denplan. He has been a GDP in mixed and private for 30 years and is a clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham School of dentistry and King’s college London.  He delivers postgraduate lectures nationally and internationally on direct and indirect restorative techniques, minimally invasive dentistry and clinical photography and runs a series of popular hands-on courses.
