Mervyn Druian has been a leader and innovator in dentistry for the past forty years. He has served as Chairman of the Met Branch of the BDA and has been International President of Alpha Omega, one of the oldest international dental organisations. Mervyn helped launch Independent Dentistry, which became the Private Practitioners Group of the BDA, and he serves on the editorial boards of Clinical Dentistry and Private Dentistry.

Mervyn, together with Bernita Shelley, has published a book titled Dream, Believe, Achieve: How to Succeed in Dentistry.

Alan also chaired the Avonmouth and Severnside Green Industries Forum, represented Bristol in Brussels for the European Green Capital, and served as an Ambassador for Bristol’s Green Investment Bank bid. He was also a member of the South of England Board for the Veolia Environmental Trust.

In 2011, Alan was awarded an Honorary MSc by the University of the West of England for his work in supporting the South West and UK low carbon economy.

Natalia has over 12 years of experience working within the medical insurance industry and is responsible for overseeing the vision, strategy, and execution of all product-related initiatives within the organisation.

Richard Scarborough is the Head of Medenta and has many years of experience working in the dental sector. Following a successful career in supermarket retail, Richard’s first experience in dentistry was managing approximately 30 practices for a dental group before joining the Practice Plan Group 10 years ago.

Dr Rossington is a dentist and owner of Renavé Clinic, a medical aesthetics and wellness practice in Retford, Nottinghamshire. With experience across NHS, private dentistry, and oral and maxillofacial surgery, she then underwent a 2-year programme in facial aesthetics and has now exclusively limited her practice to this field. She is the editor of the Oxford Handbook of Clinical Dentistry and, as a mother of two toddlers, is passionate about empowering other women in the industry to find happiness, fulfilment, and balance in both their professional and personal lives.
