She excels in helping practices understand their responsibilities and processes, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards while supporting their team members effectively.

With previous experience as an aircraft engineer, Keilan is an experienced dental field service engineer who conducts installations, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of dental equipment, including chairs, air compressors, suction motors, and X-rays.

Lisa is an award-winning Practice Manager with over 28 years of experience in the dental industry. As Chairperson of The Practice Managers Association, ADAM, and the Director of her consultancy, Practice Management Matters, Lisa has dedicated her career to mentoring, supporting, and training dental practices across the UK and Ireland. Her approachable, practical, and manageable strategies have helped countless teams to thrive.
Lisa provides “in practice” training and frequently presents at major dental shows and training events for various industry bodies. Her extensive experience and unwavering commitment to excellence have empowered many dental teams to grow, implement better systems, and enhance their workflows. She truly “walks the talk,” spending years actively supporting practices and fostering their success.
Lisa’s expertise is further recognised through her role as a judge for the Dentistry Awards, where she evaluates and celebrates outstanding achievements in the dental field.
Lisa will be hosting the ADAM Practice Management Theatre. During this event, she will take questions from the audience and engage in discussions with her panel members, who are experts in various fields including HR and Employment Law, recruitment, compliance, growth, and practical practice management tools. With over 15 years of experience, Sarah is the ideal person to advise the dental team on a wide range of issues—from employment contracts and self-employed agreements to day-to-day management challenges. Sarah will also represent clients at the Employment Tribunal if matters escalate.
Alex McWhirter

Alex is the Practice Manager at North Cardiff Dental & Implants.
She has previous experience in dentistry as a dental nurse and treatment coordinator, having worked within a busy NHS practice before moving into the world of private dentistry. Before training as a dental nurse, Alex attained honours in Environmental Sciences from Ulster University, then went on to work in the beauty industry before finding her home in dentistry.
Alex takes pride in her attention to detail, holds herself (and those around her!) to the highest standards, and truly cares about patients and her team. Alex won Practice Manager of the Year at The Dentistry Awards 2024.
She joined the ADAM team to give back, offering support and encouragement to other practice managers and dental administrators. She particularly enjoys supporting those new to their roles, as she is an ADAM New Practice Manager Mentor.

A business owner herself with a staff count of over 200, Heidi knows first-hand that time is money.
