This Independent mainly private Dental practice , are looking to recruit for a permanent Dental Practice Manager.
Position is to start ASAP ideally (Start date negotiable )
To work Full time- 40 hours per week. however the working arrangements are very flexible for those that do not want full time hours.
Family run practice located in Dorset, with community sense.
This practice has been established since 1962. It has grown from being a single handed practice to having 3 Dentists and 2 Hygienist Therapists. They provide comprehensive dental care and are able to provide advanced treatments, such as orthodontics and replacing missing teeth or stabilising dentures via dental implants.
This practice is mainly for private and Denplan patients. They also have a small NHS list for children
This is a busy practice , fully computerised using SOE and equipped with Digital Radiography in place.
All suitable applicants MUST have Dental Experience.Private and or NHS
Must have Managerial Experience too.
Formal Management Training or Qualifications Desirable not essential
Applicants must be hard-working
MUST be able to adopt a good working manner, must have excellent customer service skills
MUST have good leadership skills
MUST help grow the business, enable to tackle a task
Suitable applicants will be responsible for :
Driving the growth of the practices in both patient numbers and financial revenue in accordance with the business plan
Act as point of contact for the practices directly under your management, and assume accountability for management success and the resolution of all issues that might arise.
Ensure set financial objectives are delivered communicating proactively
Leadership skills will include:
Building a rapport and establishing relationships with internal and external partners in order to successfully manage practices through the Practice Manager at each practice
Motivate all members of the team to ensure that morale of the team is maintained
Understanding of practice dynamics and culture, identifying issues, strengths and weaknesses and acting on such areas to ensure that practice goals are achieved and exceeded
Ensuring that following the integration process, all practices are fully aware of ALL policies as laid out in the latest version of the Clinical Handbook, as well as any updates and communications which have been implemented since the latest Clinical Handbook was published.
Working with, and through, the practice manager, to ensure that all policies and procedures, as required to achieve the smooth operations of the practice are adhered to. Such policies include, but are not limited to the following areas such as Accounting, banking, Petty cash etc.
