Start your career in independent, private practice
Our client has recently launched the Associate Apprentice Programme, a one year salaried position in independent private dental care with fantastic opportunities to progress.
The programme will provide a young practitioner with the opportunity to develop their skills in a high quality private dental care setting. They will enjoy one-to-one support, training, supervised treatment delivery and mentoring from Dr Trevor Ferguson, Clinical Director and immediate past Dean of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (Royal College of Surgeons, England), as well as the opportunity to build their own clinics and treat patients independently.

The position will begin initially in our Colwyn Bay clinic but will expand quickly to take in 2 other locations, as well as additional practices currently planned for launch. Note the selected candidate will be required to perform some NHS work as part of the programme. An NHS performer number is preferable but applications from those without a performer number will be considered.

The position is ideally suited to a clinician who has or will have recently completed Dental Foundation Training. Aspirations to achieve the MJDF or MFDS are desirable.
In return, they will earn a competitive salary and following successful completion of the programme will have the opportunity to join the Group as an Associate Dental Surgeon.
A fantastic place to live
North Wales (Gogledd Cymru) is, quite simply, a stunning place to live. From the vast, pristine beaches of Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula to the shopping and nights out of Chester the choice of lifestyles and activities is immense, all bordered by the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
Conwy and the surrounding towns represent the ‘heart’ of the North Wales coast with a large number of amenities and strong road and rail connections. Head south and you’ll get a bit more rugged with activities from hiking to white water rafting available in the mountainous Betws-y-Coed area. To the west lies the Llyn Peninsula, with endless stretches of incredible coastline reaching deep into the Irish sea, packed with fantastic food and the odd music festival. To the north is Anglesey (Ynys Mon), an island that boasts flying schools, sea zoos, Michelin starred restaurants and 13th century castles.
House prices are stable and affordable, and positively cheap when compared to the quality of life available in the area. Direct rail links to numerous cities are available including London in 3 hours. Manchester Airport – the largest outside of London – is only 1 hour by road and direct ferry links to Ireland are available from Anglesey
