Verifiable CPD is CPD that meets the GDC’s strict criteria—it comes with a certificate that details the learning objectives, outcomes, and quality controls. This documented evidence such as the CPD certificates provided by Dentistry CPD proves you’ve completed an activity that can be formally recognised towards your required CPD hours.
Non-verifiable CPD (sometimes called general CPD) includes learning activities that may advance your knowledge but don’t provide the detailed documentation or certification needed by the GDC. While you can record these activities in your CPD log, they won’t count towards the minimum verifiable CPD hours required for maintaining your registration.
