Jasmine Gorton

Jasmine Gorton DDS graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor’s degrees in integrative biology and social sciences and then received her doctorate of dental medicine degree with honors from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in growth and development from the University of California, San Francisco, followed by an orthodontic residency with a master of science degree in oral biology. She received the American Association of Orthodontics Award for Craniofacial Research and the Harvard Odontological Society Award for excellence in research. A board-certified orthodontist, she is the owner of Gorton & Schmohl Orthodontics in Larkspur, California. Sona Bekmezian DDS is an associate orthodontist at Gorton & Schmohl Orthodontics in Larkspur, California. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of science degree in biology and then earned her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She also completed her orthodontic residency with a master of science degree in oral and craniofacial sciences at the UCSF. She is a board-certified orthodontist.
