Forums shape future for Denplan

Denplan’s Key Client dentists were recently invited to discuss the issues facing the dental profession at a series of successful forums across the country.

The forums allowed Denplan’s senior management team to meet with over 350 Key Client members to discuss their views and opinions about the company as well as the issues faced by all of those within the dental industry.

Dr Ian Peace led a fascinating presentation on the management of periodontally compromised patients, whilst Dr Meredyth Bell chaired the events.

Denplan’s managing director Steve Gates said: ‘As an organisation, we believe it is invaluable to have insight into what our members think and feel about the work we are doing and how we can go about making things even better. The latest forums saw interactive, open and honest discussion, enabling us to debate ideas regarding strategy and direction for the company.’

Mr Gates added: ‘Historically the Denplan advisory board, which comprised of member dentists and other professional experts, met twice a year to discuss strategy and issues. However, since changing the format and introducing Key Client Forums in 2004, we have been able to meet with many more of our Key Client members and get a much broader range of opinions and ideas.’
